MUKAH - DALAT, SARAWAK TRIP

Sorry again to being so long time didn’t update my blogger. All because about lazy, lazy and lazy…… Okay! So this week, I’m come to have some update. These posts will again a throwback post. Let’s throwback to the April again! (Throw really back! xDD)

The Late of April, I followed my parents went to some place that inside my hometown, Sarawak which is Mukah and Dalat for the celebration of Dua Peh Kong’s (a Buddhist’s god) birthday. So, the parading was organising over at Dalat town. Due to Dalat is really a very small place, there has no place to let us stay and not even seen a hotel over there. So, we were just stay over at Mukah town for 2 days 1 night. The distance from Mukah to Dalat is just 45 minutes. So, we would not worry about late to back to hotel to rest.

There is nothing special at Dalat. Just the big Prawn at the town represents this place. And in my mind, I think why not a big Lalat (Fly) as the represented but a prawn? Hahahaaaa! If you had read the history of Dalat you will know that! xDD For Mukah, this fish represent the Mukah town.

Mukah is exactly much bigger place than Dalat, but still consider small because there was nothing to do too.  But if you wake up early in the morning, you can visit to the Mukah market. The market is just at the sea side. So, they have a lot of fresh seafood selling at the market in the early morning as you can see the picture below.
A lot of fish, squid, and my loved Umai (somethings like Sashimi).

Beside the fishmonger market, there have also selling fresh vegetables and fruit. The most attract me is the stall that selling snack. It is all selling the Sarawak famous Snack as you can see the picture below.

All types of the snacks that selling are really cheap. All are RM1.00 for each packet. So, my mum and I pick a lot. The Mak Cik also quite friendly and give us some promotion too! xDD
The most I love is the Kuih Jala which is you can see in the picture below and it taste sweet because it made by using brown sugar (sounds like I can bake too xDD). You will found that the floor is totally full with the pieces of Kuih Jala after you ate. Hahaha. Because it is crispy.

I had this Fish noodle for the breakfast. It’s Tapah fish. So, after had this Tapah Fish noodle, we took our journey back to Sibu and shop over there! xDD

Also had this prawn for the dinner over Mukah.
